Let’s show our textiles some love! If you have wanted to mend your own garments instead of tossing them, this workshop is for you. Participants will learn hemming techniques on scraps of fabric and then hem a piece of clothing they bring in.
Sarah Collen from The Troy Sew Shop will lead a discussion about why mending is essential to the sustainability movement and how taking the time to mend can have a big impact on your wardrobe and the environment.
No sewing experience necessary.
