Let’s show our textiles some love! If you have wanted to up-cycle garments instead of tossing them, this workshop is for you. Participants will learn up-cycling techniques with scraps of fabric and then up-cycle a textile they bring in.
Sarah Collen from The Troy Sew Shop will lead a discussion about why up-cycling is essential to the sustainability movement and how taking the time to up-cycle and mend can have a big impact on your wardrobe and the environment.
No sewing experience necessary.
